MDR-337-P - Pressure regulator module with integrated power amplifier and commissioning wizard
This module controls the pressure (and optionally the speed) of a hydraulic system. A power output stage for continuous valves is integrated. Various setting parameters enable optimal adaptation to the respective valve. The control loop works with a control cycle time of 1 ms and the integrated power output stage with a cycle time of 0.125 ms for the solenoid current control.
The commissioning assistant deserves special mention!
After the module is hydraulically and electrically connected to the controller, the pressure sensor and the valve, all that is required is to enter the OUTPUT CURRENT and the valve-specific parameters such as DITHER or alternatively the PWM frequency (depending on the specification). This pre-parameterization is necessary to minimize the risk of uncontrolled movement. The “SYS_RANGE” parameter is used to scale the analog setpoint and at the same time to limit the maximum pressure specification during the runtime of the commissioning assistant. Set a value here below the opening pressure of the fixed overpressure protection.
Two functions can be started using the wizard:
For stationary identification (ACA:STATIC), the control of the valve is increased in a ramp-like manner and then reduced again in order to record the hysteresis and take it into account when defining the linearization curve.
In the dynamic measurement sequence (ACA:DYNAMIC), the control is changed abruptly in order to test the time behavior of the controlled system.
After the wizard has completed the functions mentioned above (approx. 5-10 minutes depending on the components), the system is ready for operation and can be fine-tuned again if necessary.
In the event of an error, the causes can be displayed via a status report (SR).
By entering the command “SR” in the terminal window of the operating program, the status report of the commissioning assistant is requested. If an error occurs, the cause is displayed. Warnings are possible despite the measurements being carried out successfully; these are displayed in plain text. It is also indicated whether the assistant has not yet been used or has been manually aborted.
