Application and structure of a hydraulic control block

Hydraulic control blocks are used in many different areas. For example, mobile hydraulic control systems are used to control machines such as excavators and other heavy machinery. Control blocks control the oil flow in a hydraulic circuit. The volume flow is usually generated by a corresponding hydraulic pump. Control blocks are equipped with various hydraulic valves to map the individual hydraulic functions. The valves used are usually screw-in valves (also known as cartridge valves).

Hydraulic control blocks are used in demanding applications. The valve blocks must therefore be robust. Control blocks can be made from various materials, including aluminum, cast iron and steel.

Depending on the pressure range, our control blocks are usually made of steel or aluminum. The maximum operating pressure for aluminum control blocks is 210 bar. The blocks are deburred and cleaned after machining. The blocks are then surface-coated and, on request, we can also complete them with valves and other components.
