Revision of the motorized 2/2-way ball valve
Due to the drastic increase in material prices, we have revised our 2/2-way ball valve EMKH-DN13-1/2″.
We are more than satisfied with the result! By using a cost-effective aluminum housing while simplifying assembly, we were not only able to save about 25% in costs, but also reduce the weight by 12%.
All in all, the construction effort and the associated costs quickly paid for themselves. Since we use “standard” components for most of the individual elements, the delivery times are also within a normal timeframe by current conditions.
Features of our motor-operated 2/2-way ball valve
With the electromotor-operated ball valve EMKH, high volume flows with very little pressure loss can be achieved within 1 second. be switched. The floating ball design guarantees maximum tightness up to 350 bar. The control is via a 24 V signal, opening and closing is achieved by reversing the polarity.
Safety features of the 2/2-way ball valve:
Important safety features such as: switch position monitoring, protection against overheating, retention of the switch position in the event of a voltage drop and protection against overload by blocking the ball valve are realized through the combination of intelligent electronics and a powerful gear motor. The geared motor and electronics are protected from even the most adverse environmental conditions in a sealed and pressure-balanced aluminum housing.
Application examples for an electric motor operated 2/2-way ball valve:
- Safety shutdown of the volume flow for critical applications
- Release of test benches when closing protective devices (doors, protective hoods, etc.)
- Switching high volume flows on and off for stationary and mobile hydraulic applications
- Closing hydraulic circuits with signal feedback
