Oil quality sensor LOQS – monitoring oil quality around the clock
The LOQS oil quality sensor gives you control over real-time monitoring of oil deterioration, contamination, oil condition, and water ingress. Expensive oil changes are thus carried out based on the actual oil condition rather than a rigid schedule. The LOQS oil quality sensor reliably detects changes in the oil or oil condition, including:
- Water
- Acid
- Fuel
- Viscosity
- Different types of oil
- Carbon
- Particles
Features LOQS oil quality sensor:
- High precision: Changes in oil quality are detected with a sensitivity of 0.01% and an accuracy of +/-0.5%, sampling rate every 2 seconds!
- Continuous analysis: The OQS continuously monitors the oil condition of the system and sends a status message every two seconds.
- Robust and reliable: Proven worldwide for use in even the most extreme industrial environments.
- Easy installation: Quick and easy to install on any system thanks to plug play integration.
Using the oil sensor readings:
The measured values of the oil condition sensor can be used in different ways:
- Output via the oil quality indicator LOQD, a display that can be installed near the oil quality sensor and shows the oil quality and the loss factor. In addition, the LOQD has a traffic light display, so you can see at a glance what condition the oil is in
- Use of the analog output signals (4-20mA) for the oil condition and temperature
The signal is converted into loss factor or TDN using a table in the operating instructions - Use of RS485 and CANbus digital signals (supported protocols: Modbus, CanOpen, and J1939). We are currently working on a solution that will enable LOQS data to be transmitted to a web platform via LTE, 3G, or GPRS. Details to follow.
Oil condition sensor LOQS: Reliable monitoring for hydraulic systems
The LOQS oil condition sensor is particularly suitable for machines and systems in which hydraulics or hydraulic oil play a central role. Such applications are often crucial for production and production capacities, involve high investments, or have serious consequences in the event of failure. In this scenario, the sensor acts as a signal transmitter for further measures: for example, a warning message could be programmed to trigger an immediate oil sample, which is sent to the laboratory for detailed evaluation.
This ensures that if the oil quality changes, you can react immediately and without much loss of time.
Choose the OQS oil quality sensor for optimized oil condition monitoring and benefit from extended maintenance intervals and reduced operating costs. Discover the advantages of our first-class oil quality sensor technology and ensure the performance and longevity of your machines and systems.
