Description
The POS-124-U is a two-axis positioning and synchronisation control unit featuring Fieldbus connection and analogue and SSI sensor interfaces. It is used to control two hydraulic positioning axes, which can be controlled either independently or in synchronisation via a fieldbus.

How it works:
The module supports simple point-to-point positioning using hydraulic actuators. It It operates on the principle of distance-dependent braking, with the control gain being set via parameters relating to the braking distance. Alternatively, it can be operated in NC mode with a specified loop gain and maximum speed, in which case the axis is moved into position under speed control. The braking characteristic of the control valve can be set to linear or approximately quadratic.
