Description
The PAM-199-P-PDP is a universal power amplifier designed to drive
Directional control valves or two pressure or throttle valves, each with a solenoid.
Here is a summary of the key properties and features:
- Order number: PAM-199-P-PDP
- Interface: Profibus DP
- How it works: The setpoint is specified via the Profibus. The output stage is controlled via a ENABLE signal a, which consists of a hardware and software enable. Fault-free operation is indicated by a READY signal.
- Operating modes: It is possible to switch between operating modes 195 and 196.
- Mode 195: Control of valves using a solenoid (pressure valves). A Setpoint of ±100% specified.
- Mode 196: Control of valves using two solenoids (directional control valves). Two Setpoints of 0–100 per cent are specified, with each channel having its own ENABLE bit from the Profibus, so that both channels can be operated independently of one another.
- Output current: The output current is regulated and is therefore independent of the power supply and the magnetic resistance. The output stage is monitored for cable breaks, is short-circuit-proof and switches off the power output stage in the event of a fault.
Parameterisation:
- Digital, reproducible settings.
- Free configuration of ramps, MIN and MAX, dither (frequency, amplitude) and PWM frequency.
- Characteristic curve linearisation using 10 XY points per direction.
- Application-oriented parameterisation using WPC software.
- Parameterisation via Profibus is possible.
- Adaptation: All standard proportional valves from various manufacturers can be controlled (BOSCH REXROTH, BUCHER, DUPLOMATIC, PARKER, etc.).
Typical applications: Control of directional, throttle and pressure valves that require flexible adjustment. Hydraulic applications in open-loop or closed-loop control systems.
