Description
The POS-123-P-PFN is a universal positioning module with a power output stage and Profinet interface. This is a positioning controller with an integrated Power amplifier, analogue sensor interface and Profinet interface.
Key features and characteristics:
- Control: Control is via a Profinet interface.
- Analogue sensor interface: The device features an analogue, freely scalable sensor interface.
- Physical units: Real, physical units such as mm or mm/s are used.
- Position-dependent braking: The device utilises the principle of position-dependent braking to achieve the shortest possible stroke times. Alternatively, the module can be operated in NC mode using an internal profile generator.
- Internal profile generator: An internal profile generator is provided to ensure a constant speed.
- Custom profile definition: The profile is defined by specifying accelerations, speed and decelerations.
- Control technology: Advanced control technology utilising a PT1 controller is employed.
- Fault diagnosis: The device offers fault diagnosis and advanced functional testing.
- Configuration: Configuration can be carried out easily using the WPC-300 software. The However, the control parameters can also be configured via Profinet.
Applications: Typical applications include general-purpose positioning drives, high-speed transport drives, handling systems, speed-controlled axes and copy control systems.
Further technical details:
- Analogue inputs: The module features analogue inputs with a signal resolution of 0.003 per cent (voltage) or 0.006 per cent (current), including oversampling.
- PWM power outputs: The maximum output current is 2.6 A; the frequency can be selected in defined steps between 61 and 2604 Hz and is monitored for open circuits and short circuits.
- Profinet IO data rate: 100 Mbit/s, conformity class CC-B, redundancy S2 (optional).
Alternative versions:
- POS-323-P: Standard unit with analogue setpoint control
