Description
The Aidro HD3-PS-1PC-R4/10 hydraulic proportional valve is a solenoid-operated 4/3-way proportional directional valve, size NG6, for subplate mounting according to ISO 4401 / DIN 24340 (CETOP 03). With a nominal flow of 32 l/min and an operating pressure of up to 320 bar, it provides infinitely variable control of direction and speed of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors. In the center position, all ports are blocked (closed center).
Function
The spring-centered spool is operated by two proportional solenoids. Depending on the spool position, the passages between P, A, B and T are opened or closed, controlling the direction and rate of flow. The valve body is a high-quality five-chamber casting, zinc coated. In case of power failure, the spool can be shifted manually via the manual override.
Control
The proportional valve is driven by a PWM power amplifier that controls the solenoid current between its minimum and maximum values. Suitable W.E.St. power amplifiers are available in our range.
Mounting and fluid
The valve is mounted on a subplate or a hydraulic control block. For reliable operation, the hydraulic fluid must be kept clean and filtered.
