Description

The MDR-337-P is a pressure control module with an integrated power output stage rated up to 2.6 A, analogue sensor interface and commissioning wizard. It is used to regulate the pressure (and optionally the speed) of a hydraulic system. The module is designed for hydraulic Designed for use in open-loop or closed-loop control systems. Es verfügt über einen PID Regler.

Key features anad characteristics:

  • Control of pressure-reducing and pressure-regulating valves
  • Compact design
  • Digitally reproducible setting
  • Universal PID controller
  • Alternatively: MR – controller can be activated; a patented and particularly robust solution
  • Commissioning wizard for determining an optimal feedforward characteristic and for dynamic controller tuning
  • Free configuration of ramps, MIN and MAX, dither (frequency, amplitude) and PWM frequency
  • Current range (configurable via software) up to 2.6 A
  • Application-oriented parameterisation
  • Fault diagnosis and advanced functional testing
  • Configuration via USB using the WPC-300 software
  • Regulated output current, independent of supply voltage and magnetic resistance
  • Monitoring of the output stage for cable breaks and overcurrent (short circuit), with automatic shutdown in the event of a fault

How it works:

The module controls pressure valves. The setpoint and actual value are transmitted via a 0–10 V signal (optional 4–20 mA with cable break monitoring). It features a ramp function and a PID controller. The digital input signal ENABLE initialises the application, clears Error messages activate the output stage and the READY signal. The START signal triggers the Control function activated. Control is carried out using a PID controller specially optimised for these applications. The control loop operates with a control cycle time of 1 ms, whilst the integrated power amplifier operates with a cycle time of 0.125 ms for magnetic flux control.

Applications:

  • Pressure control using pressure valves or servo pumps
  • Speed control using analogue speed sensors (tachometer)
  • Pressure control systems on constant-flow pumps
  • Remotely adjustable control pumps
  • Power and torque control for cylinders and motors
