Description
The PAM-199-P is a power amplifier for all standard directional control valves. It is to create a general-purpose power amplifier for proportional directional, pressure or throttle valves. Here The key properties and characteristics are summarised below:
Order number: PAM-199-P
Function types:
- 195: Controlling a directional control valve using a +/- 10 V (or 4… 20 mA) signal.
- 196: Control of one or two throttle or pressure valves using a 0–10 V (or 4–20 mA) signal.
- 197: Control of proportional valves with one or two solenoids. Up to eight Pre-programmed setpoints and ramps can be accessed via three digital input signals.
Features:
- Flexibility: One module for all applications.
- Certification: DNV GL certification for the maritime sector.
- Control: directional control valves or two pressure or throttle valves.
- Inputs: Analogue or digital inputs.
- Housing: Compact housing.
- Settings: Settings that can be reproduced digitally.
- Scaling: Free scaling of the analogue inputs.
- Monitoring: Monitoring of the input signal (e.g. for a joystick).
- Characteristic curve linearisation: Over 10 XY points per direction.
- Parameter settings: Free configuration of RAMP, MIN / MAX, output current and DITHER (frequency, amplitude).
- Output current: Nominal output current up to 2.6 A.
- Parameterisation: Simple and application-oriented parameterisation using WPC software.
- Diagnosis: Fault diagnosis and advanced functional testing.
- Output current: The output current is regulated and is therefore independent of the power supply and the magnetic resistance. The output stage is monitored for cable breaks, is short-circuit-proof and switches off the power output stage in the event of a fault. Parameterisation:
- RAMP, MIN and MAX, the DITHER (frequency and amplitude) and the PWM frequency are programmable.
- In addition, the valve characteristic can be linearized over 10 corner points.
- Adaptation: All standard proportional valves from various manufacturers can be controlled (BOSCH REXROTH, BUCHER, DUPLOMATIC, PARKER, etc.).
- LED indicators: LEDs for displaying the operating status and faults.
- Communication: USB interface.
- Software: WPC-300 control programme (available on the manufacturer’s website).
Typical applications: Control of directional, throttle and pressure valves that require flexible adjustment. Hydraulic applications in open-loop or closed-loop control systems.
