Description
The PAM-190-P-IO is a compact and affordable plug-in amplifier, or A power amplifier for driving proportional valves using a solenoid. It is characterised by features an I/O-Link interface.
Here is a summary of the key properties and features:
- Order number: PAM-190-P-IO – Power amplifier for proportional valves with an I/O-Link interface via an M12 connector.
- Housing: Connector housing in accordance with DIN EN 175 301-803 A for direct mounting on the valve.
- I/O-Link: Port Class B in accordance with specification V1.1, with a data rate of COM3 = 230.4 kBaud and internal galvanic isolation of the auxiliary power supply.
- Output current: Regulated output current, independent of the supply voltage and the magnetic resistance. The output current can be set up to a maximum of 2.5 A.
Parameterisation:
- Digital, reproducible settings.
- Free configuration of ramps, MIN and MAX, dither (frequency, amplitude) and PWM frequency.
- Can be configured via I/O-Link.
- Adaptability: Can be adapted to all standard proportional valves.
Further features:
- Can also be used as a soft-switch amplifier (with soft on/off switching).
- M12 connector.
- Monitoring: Monitors sources of faults such as cable breaks, short circuits, EEPROM data errors, temperature and undervoltage.
- Connections: M12, 5-pin (DESINA standard).
Typical applications: Current-controlled actuation of throttle or pressure valves, as well as
general inductive loads.
