The controller therefore only compensates for linearity errors. An enable signal activates the controller\u2019s output, which can then be controlled by the setpoint. Operational readiness is signalled via a \u2018Ready\u2019 signal. The controller is activated by the \u2018Start\u2019 signal, and the current actual value is read in.
