The unit enables precise control of the spool position and can be optimally adapted to different valve types thanks to a wide range of adjustable parameters. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Key performance characteristics and control system<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Highly dynamic control: The control loop operates with a sampling time of 1 ms, whilst the integrated power output stage for magnetic flux control has a cycle time of just 0.125 ms.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Precise current output: The output current is regulated and is therefore independent of the supply voltage (12\u201330 VDC) and the magnet\u2019s resistance. The magnet\u2019s rated current can be digitally configured up to a value of 2.6 A.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Flexible signal adaptation: The analogue inputs for setpoint and actual value are freely scalable and support signal ranges of 0\u202610 V, -10\u2026+10 V and 4\u202620 mA.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Controller configuration: The module uses a PID controller with feedforward and a switching integrator to ensure a rapid response to setpoint changes whilst avoiding oscillation at the operating point. The available functions include: <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Four-quadrant ramp: Separately adjustable ramp times for ramp-up and ramp-down in both directions.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Overrange compensation (MIN\/MAX): Digital setting to compensate for the valve dead zone and to scale the output signal.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Characteristic curve linearisation: It is possible to adjust the signal characteristics using 10 XY data points, for example to establish a linear relationship between the input signal and physical quantities.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dither function: Adjustable frequency and amplitude to reduce mechanical static friction in the valve.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hardware and Security<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Compact design: The device is designed as a snap-on module for mounting on standard DIN rails (EN 50022).<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Status monitoring: Three LEDs on the front panel indicate the operating status: a green READY LED indicates whether the unit is ready for use or whether there is a fault, whilst two yellow LEDs indicate the current intensity at magnets A and B.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Comprehensive diagnostics: The power amplifier is continuously monitored for cable breaks and short circuits.
