It enables both precise position control and integrated pressure or force control, which can operate independently or as a backup control system. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Versatile sensor technology and positioning<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i> <\/i><b><i>Flexible measurement systems<\/i><\/b>: <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The module supports both digital position measurement systems via a universal<\/span><\/i> <b><i>SSI interface<\/i><\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(with a resolution of up to 1 \u00b5m) and analogue sensors (0\u201310 V or 4\u201320 mA).<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>Advanced positioning modes:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i>SDD mode: <\/i><\/b><i><span>Distance-dependent braking for robust and precise positioning, unaffected by pressure fluctuations.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b><i>NC mode:<\/i><\/b> <i><span>Numerically controlled positioning with an internal profile generator for constant travel speeds.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><b><i>Rapid-slow motion:<\/i><\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An integrated function for fast feed movements and precise positioning at the target position.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Integrated pressure and force control<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The device has a built-in<\/span><\/i> <b><i>pressure regulation function<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is ideally suited to applications such as forming machines or presses. It can be used as  <\/span><\/i><b><i>switch-off pressure-limiting control<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Operation: If a predefined setpoint pressure is exceeded, the controller reduces the speed until the actual pressure matches the setpoint. To determine the force precisely, the module calculates a  <\/span><\/i><b><i>Pseudo-differential pressure,<\/i><\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which takes into account the area ratios at the cylinder.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adaptability thanks to FlexiMod<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A key feature of the UHC-326-U-PFN is its<\/span><\/i> <i><b>FlexiMod script programming<\/b><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This allows functions and data exchange via the fieldbus to be customised. It is even possible to replace the fieldbus inputs entirely with physical inputs in order to operate the device without a bus connection. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advanced Control Technology and Diagnostics<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i> <\/i><b><i>Precision functions:<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The module offers features such as <\/span><\/i><b><i>Driftkompensation<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for optimum zero-point adjustment, <\/span><\/i><b><i>Fine positioning<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to compensate for load-dependent errors, as well as a <\/span><\/i><b><i>Acceleration feedback<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to improve performance in low-frequency drives.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><i> <\/i><b><i>Comprehensive monitoring:<\/i><\/b> <i>The system continuously monitors potential sources of error such as cable breaks (for 4\u201320 mA), sensor faults or internal data errors.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><i> <\/i><b><i>Hardware and software: <\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The device is a compact <\/span><\/i><b><i>snap-on module<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the DIN mounting rail (protection class IP20).
