The proportional control of the valve using the PAM-199 allows us to individually adjust the speed and direction of rotation. Here too, the motors are controlled by 4\/3-way proportional valves. In contrast to the first example, an SCU-139-P is used here. This module, paired with two speed sensors, enables the two hydraulic motors to be operated in synchronization. The special feature here is the integrated commissioning assistant developed by WEST. This enables the cylinder to be commissioned quickly and easily. Based on the input of a few basic parameters, the module determines the remaining parameters independently. The commissioning wizard offers various functions that can be used individually, in combination or as a complete package. This includes determining and parameterizing the sensor range used, the polarity, any offset, the positive overlap and the possible maximum speed.
